Jakarta – PT Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi (WIKAIKON) mengawali tahun 2025 dengan berpartisipasi dalam agenda tahunan kunjungan ke proyek strategis yang diselenggarakan oleh WIKA Holding. Tahun ini, Proyek Pembangunan Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Plant Rorotan menjadi tujuan utama kunjungan sebagai simbol komitmen terhadap kolaborasi dan inovasi untuk keberlanjutan. (02/25)
Proyek RDF Plant Rorotan merupakan salah satu inisiatif unggulan yang bertujuan untuk mengolah limbah menjadi bahan bakar alternatif yang ramah lingkungan. Proyek ini dirancang untuk mengelola sampah domestik sebanyak 2.500 ton per hari yang berasal dari 16 kecamatan di Jakarta, menjadikannya salah satu fasilitas pengolahan sampah terbesar di dunia. Kolaborasi teknologi dari berbagai negara turut terlibat dalam proses pengolahan sampah, dengan tujuan menjadikan RDF Plant Jakarta sebagai pabrik pengolahan sampah terbesar yang pernah ada.
Dalam proyek ini, WIKAIKON berkontribusi melalui penyediaan struktur baja (steel structure) dan instalasi, yang mendukung keberhasilan pembangunan fasilitas tersebut. Proyek ini tidak hanya berfokus pada pengelolaan sampah, tetapi juga pada pengurangan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan dengan menghasilkan bahan bakar alternatif yang ramah lingkungan.
Kunjungan ini dihadiri oleh jajaran Direksi WIKAIKON serta Sekretaris Perusahaan. Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Direksi memberikan apresiasi kepada tim proyek atas keberhasilan menyelesaikan seluruh pekerjaan sesuai dengan target waktu dan standar kualitas yang tinggi. Bapak Sidiq Purnomo, Direktur Utama, menyampaikan, “Keberhasilan ini menunjukkan profesionalisme dan dedikasi tim dalam mencapai target perusahaan. Saya sangat bangga dengan pencapaian ini dan berharap dapat terus melangkah maju dengan semangat yang sama.”
Melalui proyek ini, WIKAIKON bersama WIKA Group optimis dapat terus memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pembangunan yang ramah lingkungan dan berorientasi pada masa depan.
WIKAIKON Starts 2025 with a Visit to the Rorotan Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Plant Project

The RDF Plant Rorotan project is one of the flagship initiatives that aims to process waste into environmentally friendly alternative fuels. The project is designed to manage 2,500 tons of domestic waste per day from 16 sub-districts in Jakarta, making it one of the largest waste treatment facilities in the world. Technological collaborations from various countries are involved in the waste treatment process, with the aim of making the Jakarta RDF Plant the largest waste treatment plant ever.
In this project, WIKAIKON contributes through the provision of steel structures and installations, which support the successful construction of the facility. This project not only focuses on waste management, but also on reducing negative impacts on the environment by producing environmentally friendly alternative fuels.
This visit was attended by the Board of Directors of WIKAIKON and the Corporate Secretary. On this occasion, the Board of Directors gave appreciation to the project team for successfully completing all work in accordance with the time target and high quality standards. Mr. Sidiq Purnomo, President Director, said, “This success shows the professionalism and dedication of the team in achieving the company’s targets. I am very proud of this achievement and hope to continue moving forward with the same spirit.”
