Supporting Community Connectivity through the Jakarta Cikampek II Toll Road Project, WIKAIKON Successfully Completes Girder Erection Work

Bekasi – PT Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi (WIKAIKON), a subsidiary of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, has successfully completed the girder erection (bridge beam installation) for the construction of the Jakarta–Cikampek South II Toll Road, Package 2 (STA. 9+300 – STA. 34+150).

The installation of the Steel Box Girder was witnessed directly by WIKAIKON President Director, Tri Prabowo, along with the management team of project owner PT Jasa Marga Japek Selatan, supervisory consultants from PT Mitrapasific Consulindo International – PT Buana Archicon – PT Indec Internusa, PMCM consultant Virama – WB KSO, and the main contractors: PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT PP, PT KMK, and PT HKI KSO.

The Jakarta–Cikampek South II Toll Road is part of the National Strategic Project (PSN), stretching approximately 62 kilometers, connecting Jatiasih (JORR 1) in Bekasi to Sadang (Purbaleunyi) in Purwakarta. The project aims to ease traffic congestion on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road and enhance connectivity between the Greater Jakarta area, Purwakarta, and Bandung.

The girder erection work prioritized comprehensive technical aspects—including occupational health and safety (OHS), quality, time, cost, and method. The 60.9-meter-long girder was installed between two piers using a 200-ton Launcher Gantry, spanning above the Burangkeng Toll segment.

“All installation processes must comply with OHS standards, both for field workers and future toll road users. Every stage is carefully calculated to minimize the risk of errors,” said Tri Prabowo.

WIKAIKON also conducted Construction Engineering Services (CES), including stagging analysis for installation, to assess structural behavior during installation and ensure the precision and stability of the structure in accordance with the design.

“With the completion of both fabrication and installation on time and in compliance with quality standards, this project demonstrates WIKAIKON commitment to supporting national infrastructure development. This achievement adds to our portfolio of strategic projects such as the Jogja–Bawen Bridge, Palang–Joglo Railway Bridge, and others,” Tri concluded.
