Designed to support the smooth logistics of PT AGM’s mining operations, the bridge strategically separates industrial traffic from public roadways. Constructed over the National Road and the Tumpahan Amandit River, its presence brings immediate benefits, including enhanced safety for road users, improved local mobility, and reduced disruptions from above-ground operational activities. As an added safety measure, the underside of the bridge positioned directly above the National Road is equipped with protective shielding to safeguard road users from potential falling debris.

“This bridge is dedicated to supporting safe and orderly operations wahile respecting the living space of nearby communities. We believe that industry and society can thrive side by side,” said Alvensus Sihotang, Site Manager of PT AGM.

The inauguration was attended by various government officials and community leaders, including the Regent of Hulu Sungai Selatan, the South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, and the President Commissioner of PT AGM, General (Ret.) Drs. Badrodin Haiti. The event also included the symbolic handover of community support programs, such as donations for orphans, educational facilities, scholarships, clean water infrastructure, and places of worship.

“We believe that quality infrastructure should bring broad and lasting impacts—not only for project efficiency but also for the well-being of the community,” stated Tri Prabowo, President Director of WIKAIKON, who was present as a guest of honor. He further emphasized that this collaboration serves as proof that physical development can progress alongside preserved social values.

This project also highlights the vital role of a responsive national construction industry that supports regional advancement. The “Merah Putih AGM” Bridge is more than a steel structure—it lays the foundation for a safer and more humane future in connectivity.

“This is a tangible contribution from Indonesia construction professionals—creating engineering solutions that embrace sustainability, safety, and a people-centered approach,” Tri Prabowo concluded.
