WIKAIKON Commitment to Strengthening Quality, Safety, and Innovation

Majalengka – Awareness of occupational safety (Safety Patrol) continues to show a positive trend through regular safety patrol activities. Concern for safety and environmental aspects remains well maintained thanks to a more mature work culture. This was conveyed during a safety patrol and joint evaluation session between WIKAIKON’s Board of Directors and the Majalengka Plant Management at one of WIKAIKON’s main production facilities in the Majalengka Fabrication Plant. “The implementation of Integrated Governance in QSHE aspects has been well established. This is a positive signal that the practices adopted at the parent company, WIKA, are now also becoming the standard at its subsidiaries,” said Tri Prabowo, President Director.
The application of the 5R principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) was also highlighted as an important focus. These principles are not only seen as standards but as a culture that must be continuously maintained and renewed. Neatness and organization on-site are expected to keep improving through regular updates and a shared commitment across all lines of work.
The President Director of PT Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi further emphasized that innovation is an element that never stops within the company. “We must bring out innovation every day so that we continuously find new ways that other companies are not doing. This is what makes us different,” he stated.
He also highlighted the great potential of the Majalengka Plant, which has started to demonstrate global performance. “Steel fabrication in Majalengka has the potential to go global. We need broader branding by introducing this to more stakeholders so that more people will know about this magnificent plant we have.”
In conclusion, all parties agreed that close collaboration between regulators and industry players is crucial in creating a safe, innovative, and sustainable work system. WIKAIKON is ready to set an example of a company that not only complies with regulations but also leads in driving the transformation of the national steel industry.
