WIKAIKON Holds FGD to Formulate Fabricated Steel Marketing Strategy

Jakarta – PT Wijaya Karya Industri Konstruksi (WIKAIKON) convened a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Fabricated Steel Marketing Strategy at the WIKA Tower 2 Auditorium, Jakarta. The event brought together the Board of Directors, management, and division representatives to formulate the company’s future strategic direction. (10/10)

Carrying the theme “From Discussion to Solutions, From Strategy to Success,” the FGD explored WIKAIKON’s development potential in three main sectors: renewable energy, mineral downstream industry, and agriculture. The forum also served as a collaborative space to establish more targeted and sustainable marketing strategies.

WIKAIKON President Director Tri Prabowo underscored the importance of maintaining enthusiasm and optimism among all teams in facing industry dynamics. “Challenges come from every direction, but we must not lose hope. We can get through 2026 successfully. The key is to stay motivated and continue striving for excellence. Everyone should share their ideas to help WIKAIKON remain sustainable,” said Tri Prabowo.

The discussion proceeded dynamically, dividing participants into five groups. Each group presented ideas focusing on opportunities and challenges in fabricated steel marketing. The deliberations were comprehensive, emphasizing the use of proper tools, clear strategies, and measurable roadmaps to ensure each plan can be implemented effectively.

A number of strategic proposals emerged from the forum, including initiatives in power plant development, bridge construction, diesel production, and jetty infrastructure through steel structure specialization. All ideas converged on one key priority — strengthening warehouse capacity as the company’s short-term strategic focus.

The outcomes of the discussion affirmed that short-term initiatives (within one year) must be executed immediately, particularly the warehouse capacity enhancement with clear objectives. Meanwhile, long-term strategies (within two years) will focus on sustainability, enabling WIKAIKON to remain competitive amid a challenging industrial landscape.

WIKAIKON Director Adi Widyo Nugroho also emphasized the company’s direction in strengthening its operational capacity. “We need to ensure that the value we achieve reaches its maximum capacity. We will finalize and execute what has been agreed upon. Now is the time to enhance our capacity for WIKAIKON,” said Adi Widyo Nugroho.

The FGD concluded with a shared commitment that every idea generated will not remain as discourse, but will be followed by concrete actions to strengthen WIKAIKON’s position in the industry. “This forum serves as a momentum for breakthroughs. From today’s discussion, we gained new insights, identified opportunities, and formulated actionable strategies to make WIKAIKON more competitive and sustainable,” concluded Tri Prabowo.
