WIKAIKON Organizes Eid al-Adha 1446 H Qurban Program Together in Sacrifice, Together in Sharing as a Reflection of Social Responsibility
Jakarta, In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri, PT Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi (WIKAIKON) held a qurban (sacrificial animal) program as part of the company’s commitment to promoting social responsibility and sustainability. Carrying the theme “Together in Sacrifice, Together in Sharing,” the event was conducted simultaneously at two of the company’s main operational areas: the Steel Plant in Majalengka and the PPC Plant in Bogor (9/6)
As part of its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, this initiative serves as a tangible contribution to the surrounding communities, while also strengthening harmonious relations between the company and its social environment.
This year, WIKAIKON distributed qurban animals—cows and goats—to communities located around its operational areas. The entire implementation process emphasized transparency, unity, and accurate targeting of beneficiaries.
Beyond the distribution of qurban meat, the event also involved employees from various units, reinforcing a spirit of togetherness and social awareness within the company. The slaughtering and distribution processes were coordinated in collaboration with local community leaders and organizing committees to ensure smooth and equitable execution.
The qurban program not only symbolizes gratitude for the company’s achievements but also represents WIKAIKON’s ongoing commitment to supporting inclusive and sustainable social development. Through the spirit of Eid al-Adha, the company hopes to continue fostering the values of solidarity, compassion, and the culture of sharing—both within the workplace and in the broader community.
